In 2006, we decided that exhibitions serving the travel sector could be improved. So we took on the challenge to bring a fresh approach to the marketplace. We wanted to create events that were more effective at bringing together the right buyers with the right hoteliers. We wanted to deliver more business opportunities to all exhibitors – not just the few who could afford the biggest stands in the best locations. And, above all, we wanted to help exhibitors and buyers forge long-lasting relationships and create proﬁtable business.
With this in mind, we created a new style of event called M&I Forums. After eight highly successful years (and 70 Forums) at the forefront of the MICE sector, we launched PRIVATE Luxury Forums, focusing on the luxury leisure travel market. PRIVATE Luxury Forums will introduce you to some of the world’s most exciting players in luxury travel. But the introduction is just the start of it. The key element of our Forums is that these introductions are given the space and time to turn into trusting relationships that last for years.
Our umbrella company, Worldwide Events, specialises in business-to-business trade shows that have a one-to-one meeting format. We facilitate over 40,000 meetings per year between high-quality buyers and suppliers in the hospitality industry. Worldwide Events is a division of Big Worldwide, a global travel, technology, events and media company founded in 1995.
